The foundation aims to use the many learnings and insights he has gained from him. The focus is on making therapy affordable and accessible to all, especially the youth. "I shared my plans about youth mental health and well-being with Her Majesty and she supported me. So, I am even more excited to work now. Not only this, the beautiful hand-embroidered sherwani worn by Darasing Khurana which was created by designers Shantanu and Nikhil was also praised by the Queen," Darasingh explains. Giving more details about his discussion with Maharani, the actor says, “I explained how we wanted to work towards a better balance of technology in the lives of young people by implementing a Commonwealth-wide program. She agreed that this was the need of the hour and encouraged me to focus on it,” he adds. “We have come up with a roadmap that can be merged with the education system across all Commonwealth countries so that students are taught from the beginning in their schools how to balance technology in their lives.” Based on research conducted by his foundation, Darasing has pointed to a sharp decline in concentration and patience levels and an increase in anxiety levels among the youth. The main reason for this is believed to be excessive use of electronics and social media. Through his work with Dr Rekha Chaudhary, founder of World Digital Detox Day, the actor's focus is on encouraging lifestyle changes that will help the youth cope with technology and social media.
